An ISO range of 100-1600, four frames per second continuous shooting, powerful 45-point autofocus, and a 1.0x full-frame, 35-millimeter sensor are just a few. The viewfinder offers a 100 percent view. It also has USB 1.1 for direct printing and a 100mbps Firewire connection. The 16 megapixels produce billboard-quality photo resolution. The shutter mechanism is designed to last for at least 200,000 activations and operate at a minimum of 30 seconds and a maximum of 1/8000 seconds. The EOS 1Ds Mark II turns on in less than a second. Compact flash and SD memory cards are used at the same time to save your photo files. Use the three-color histogram analysis to find blown out channels and adjust accordingly. This Canon camera's superior image quality is especially obvious in low-light settings at high ISOs. Refine file sizes of JPGs to fit any job. Save your custom settings to a memory card, which is great for multiple users or multiple settings. The 1Ds Mark II also has video out capability for connecting directly to a TV monitor for viewing. The updated flash metering system from Canon called E-TTL II adds a smart aspect to automated flash mode. The system calculates distance information taken from the lens for perfect exposure and white balance on the first try. Sensors in the digital camera's body rotate images automatically for quicker processing. A customizable readout shows the ISO setting, file number, and shots remaining.
