It's not built for a pro. More for the part time photographer. The strap is on the thin side but not long enough for a tall person, I'm 5'8" and it's just right for me. It has plastic buckles. The padding is nice. The mounting screw is metal and will last. Though not military grade its usable and will last for some years. Would I buy again? Yes, for an $8.00 sling its nice.
