To leak or not to leak, that is the question!

Always get Energizer after I learned that Duracell batteries can be made overseas. You have to carefully look at the packaging to see the manufacturing location. Overseas ones will leak on you. In order to avoid this, I switched brands to Energizer and have had 1 leak in a few years. Yes, all brands of batteries may leak. Get the brand that does the least and work the most.

      Not like the picture

The pictures show these batteries are in a Energizer box. The ones i got were in a generic box and wrapped in a plastic wrap that looked like a six year old did it. I bought these as a gift and having them wrapped this way is pretty tacky. I do not know if they are any good because i have not tried them. I am now stuck with 40 AAA batteries

    • Energizer batteries my new favorite.

Batteries are a GREAT price and value. These Energizer batteries have become my top choice in the past year, I used to use only Duracell, and then every one of them started to "leak" in their applications and in the storage box just siting waiting to be used. Then I switched to RayOvac batteries and had great luck, reliability and usage out of them, and then THEY also started to "leak" in applications and storage, just like the Duracell. Now I'm using Energizer and having good success with them at this time, while waiting for them to "fail" just like the other batteries. I believe that all these batteries have failed because of "cost cutting" being done to increase profits at the cost of quality.

    • Good value, 2028 expiration date and nice packaging

REceived the AAA batteries pretty fast. Needed to use 9 of them right away. Checked each one with my volt metter and they were in good shape. The devices I put them in are working great. Good value and the listed expiration date is 2028. I like the packaging. 4 batteries per small box and 6 small boxes in a nice rectangular box. Why? becasue I have bought the plastic duracell packages at big box stores and once you open the plastic you end up with batteries scattered everywhere. These small boxes can be stored away easily until you need them.

    • Energizer Industrial batteries have a good reputation. As long as they are new and unused they should excel in all applications.

The batteries appear to be new. This model of the make Energizer has a great reputation for powering batteries used for systems such as a control module for a HVAC system. These batteries should be good for backup power when mains power is down.
