I read that some old bios' will not be able to boot your nvme with this. I suppose if your bios has UEFI secure boot you should be fine. I installed this in a PCI X16 video card slot to get the full speed from my nvme drive. It really made my old desktop very responsive!

The NVMe SSD adapter cards arrived and work properly though, so no harm. But I will be crossing sellers in border towns off my list from now on.
