The fit and finish is good. The blade is well centered with a strong pull to open. Good snap on open and close. Note: this is more of a medium sod buster. Sizewise, It sits between the sod buster junior and full size sod buster. It looks like a good hardworking everyday knife. It might be a bit big for some situations though. I like the wood covers.

I polished them up with probably 15 light coats of semi-chrome polish. Result, the brightness and cleanness and mirror finish of the brass on the knife is perfect. Also, after the 15th coat I did that over like a week. The blade was smoother and it seemed to be grippy for your hand you have a much better grip.
