    Fitment problems/issues

    I purchased this type of kit for the front of my truck and it went well with no issues. However, the set of bushings for the rear of my truck went terribly. Four (4) of the smaller bushings would not fit inside the shackles. The (4) had to be chucked up in a lathe and turned down .11 in order for them to be pushed into their location. I consider this a really BIG issue because the truck was apart, and you have to remove the existing bushing before you found this problem. If you don't happen to have a friend or family member available with a lathe, you are stuck in a big deep hole. Luckily I did have a family member with a wood lathe and we were able to put these in his chuck spin them up and cut them down. Not anyone's easy Sunday afternoon.     Good Bushings

    These bushings are a nice replacement for worn out OEM rubber bushings. However, be warned that if you do not have a press you will need a decent assortment of hand tools and some ingenuity to remove the old bushings and metal sleeves. It should be noted that you only remove the metal sleeves on the rear leaf spring eye, but not the front. I made the mistake of removing both metal sleeves and ended up having to put the front one back in. Overall I feel like these are superior to original equipment and they cost about the same.

    Item was completely incorrect

    The product was listed entirely incorrectly as to what vehicle/s it would fit. My Ford F250 was listed as an applicable vehicle, however, the item was completely incorrect for it. It was not even close. Therefore, as to "value" or "quality", I cannot attest, because I could not use the item shipped to me. Be extra cautious prior to ordering & ask a lot of questions first.
