When I first installed this carb the engine wouldn't start. I checked the float bowl and found there was hardly any gas in it. I think the needle got stuck in the seat so I pulled the carb, removed the bowl and ensured that the float moved freely and that the needle closed and opened appropriately. I remounted the carb and the engine started in one pull. One pull! This thing hasn't started in one pull since it was new. The carb cost what a rebuild kit would cost and now the engine purrs. Thanks!

  • Not certain it will work but the costs was low

fits but choke lever is incorrect. I was able to swap shaft and top actuation plate using the new throttle plate. Have not tried to start it yet.
