      Spot-On Replacement of Original Nutone Vent Motor

      This motor was a spot-on replacement of the original Nutone vent motor that lasted 38 years. Installation was easy and there was only one little hiccup: the rectangular slot for the power outlets (one to plug in the motor, the other for the light) of the motor-frame assembly is slightly smaller than the original slot. However, I could still access the power outlets and it was not material to the final installation. The vent fan works as expected and is quieter than the fan it replaced. I highly recommend this product.

      no good options

      It is extremely loud. Unfortunately, I cannot access the attic to be able to replace the entire unit with a quieter model, so I had to settle for replacing the burnt out motor in the existing unit. As for quality, one could ask why I am having to replace the motor after only a few years of very occasional use.

      Well satisfied

      Well satisfied. Got my vent fan fixed without having to replaces whole thing. That means, not getting in a hot attic in the Louisiana heat (95 degrees-heat index 108) and humidity. Soooooo happy! Thanks for reading!

      Worked for me

      Replaced my old bathroom fan with this compatible model, and it works great. It's not that quiet, but it is more powerful than the old one and doesn't squeal.
