    Works great and is a really good value

    This water heater is durable and simple to use. Just plug it in and it turns itself on and off as needed. I use it in the chicken coop and as an added bonus it also puts a little heat into the space. I don't believe in heating the coop unless it is extremely cold because then the chickens would be at risk if there were to be a power failure and they were not used to the cold. This just adds enough extra heat to make the girls comfy. At first the unit did run hot but after a week it cooled down to an acceptable level. I would buy another one again if the need arises. This is much better to use than any of the plastic heated waterers, there is no spilling water everywhere and no need to clean it often. Until they come up with a durable easy to fill / no spill unit this is the way to ...

    works well,better than last one

    This really a nice heater. My last one from another company lasted for years before moisture got under it and rusted just enough to short out the element. This one has a cover on bottom to help prevent moisture from getting in as well as debris. This one has a longer cord and overall is just better. Great quality.

    Heats very quick. I use it for my dogs 3 gallon water container which doesn't cover the entire base of the heater, no injuries to dogs from heat
