We put 10 feet of truss together with the stands about 18 inches in from both sides. Hung 160lbs. from the center. Hung 300lbs split to the inside of the stands. I am happier with the trusses than I am with the stands. The stands may have to be replaced in the future but the trusses are first class and built for a lifetime.
