The negative connector is overly thick and rigid at the black prongs, making it nearly impossible to click in place. I'm a full centimeter apart on 2 of 3 cables I purchased. I tried connecting to numerous MC4 cables and solar panels from various sources, all with the same maddening lack of result. My handyman neighbor scoffed as I described. An hour later he was cursing.

The sheaths on both wires are bonded together which makes the cable one piece - unlike most solar cables which come as two separate wires. The flexibility and one piece design makes it much easier to route for temporary setups relative to most solar wires which are stiff and are usually two pieces.

The red/black markings were a bit blended together on the leads, so that makes it a bit less clear on which is positive and negative.
