The bottom tray is too small and will not necessitate food and water bowls or a litter box. The upper shelves are designed to be too narrow to safely or comfortably sleep on and can not be used for food or water or else they have to be lined up side by side which splits the cage in two, upper and lower, it is THE WORST excuse for a cat cage I have ever attempted. This item should be redesigned or not offered as a cat cage.
