Well made rugged case with excellent balance between price and performance.
I've been bashing around my Boyt case for about 4-5 years and it's holding up like a champ. I've hauled it all over the country, taken it to countless range days, and a handful of 3-gun matches and I couldn't be happier with it. When my step-dad suggested he might like a good hard case I bought him for Christmas the exact same one I've been using, and he's impressed with it as well. There are nicer cases out there from Pelican and others, but they're A LOT more money. In my opinion, this Boyt case is 80% as good for 30% the price -which is a great balance between price and performance. Pretty sure the case isn't 100% waterproof (especially if you jam-pack it full like I usually do), so if you require zero water intrusion if it were to get flipped out of a canoe -or other such disaster, ... This case once filled with scoped rifle does not close and seal correctly. The top and bottom do not come together correctly. The two halves do not align and do not seal. This is with CZ 452 .22 lr rifle with Leupold rimfire scope. Both rifle and scope are small compared to larger centerfire rifle and scope. I had read same complaint by others before ordering.
