      Garage door monitor

      The unit works as described . I put on a second door to monitor and that was easy to do . Will be adding a 3rd door to monitor by this unit some time this year . The unit can handle up to 4 units which is a nice option . The unit has been moved around in the house from room to room and works well each time . The monitor works as described on closing any open doors it monitors . When remotely closed a blinking light and audio alarm is helpful .

      Good investment.

      Wanted assurance that our garage door was closed when it should be. This unit not only changes from green to red, but also has an audible alarm with a short beep that draws your attention when the door is open. Cons: Works only with the latest Craftsman garage door openers however. Pros: Can monitor more than one garage door.

      Plug and play with Linkmaster MyQ

      Works great with my Linkmaster gate opener. While Chamberlain has discontinued their Linkmaster branded monitor, they manufacture this Craftsman monitor and it works plug and play with the Linkmaster MyQ components

      kNOW WHEN YOUR DOOR IS OPEN OR CLOSED

      The monitor lets you know if your garage door is open or closed with colored lights. If you see the green light you know it’s closed and if it’s flashing red you know it’s open. It has a button to close the door but none to open it. I think a button to open the door would be nice too. It works great and keeps you aware of the door’s status.
