      This is a really nice upgrade to the old incandescent bulb for HS slit lamps. I just ordered another. A modest amount of technical ability is required to install it. Most eye doctors should be able to do the upgrade easily. Its a little bit brighter than the incandescent bulb and its really easy to see anterior chamber cells with it. It does not get hot, and the patient does not feel heat. The slit lamp IR/heat filter is no longer needed. Highly recommend.
