Great transaction, thank you for the excellent packaging and fast shipping. Would buy from again and I have to keep typing because eBay is forcing me to continue in order to leave feedback at all. Wow it really is forcing me to say specific things like item was as described and was a good value. Maybe it will end now?

Definitely packaged with care for the distance traveled. Item was shipped completely built and only 3 pieces were loose on arrival. All minifigures were present and the ship was in great condition as stated in the description. No flaws or major issues with the wing mechanism. Completely satisfied with the purchase!

The Type 1A Canadian Price Variant ($1.00 Cover Price) of Secret Wars #8

By population size, Canada was only 9.8% of the North American newsstand market for comic books, and newsstand comics only represented only about half of Marvel's comics by the middle of the 80's, the other half being direct editions (the kind with logos instead of bar codes). So therefore only about 5-6% of the total copies of Secret Wars #8 would have been from the newsstand batch with variant cover price. Secret Wars #8 is definitely one of the "mega-keys" that were published by Marvel during this cover price variant window (the window opened in October 1982 and closed after August of 1986 -- after that, Marvel merged the two batches).
