    Lightweight with good features

    It is a good shaver frod all points of view. Not magic - I need to go over the same face surface to reach good results, but I had the same using Philips shavers.

    Good shave, but it has issues

    I have been shaving with Norelco products for over 15 years. I bought this unit to upgrade my older one, based on reviews. I find the following: 1.) it gives a good, close shave 2) the battery life is much shorter than my experience with older models 3.) the head construction is cheap, and the blades sometimes separate from the head without warning. 4.) the cost for replacement blades for this unit are unreasonably high

    Phillips Norelco 8950 kit.

    I have been using it every day, gives an excellent shave. I received the item just as described brand new (never used). I would recommend this razor to anyone wanting to try electric shaver.

    IMO the mid quality Phillips shavers are a better value

    Mine was an open box item so I got it for half price so take this with a grain of salt. I like Phillips Norelco electric shavers but I did not see the any advantage in shave quality over my much less expensive triple head shaver with the exception this is wet or dry and my old one is only dry. Being open box it may have had more wear on the blades than advertised. If my beard is slightly long it will pull hair.
