Hard to find these now, appear to be discontinued. Still riding my old Mukluk so I was happy to get this.

    • Great tire

I don't really know how I got into fat biking, I don't live near a beach and we don't get a lot of snow, I guess it just seemed natural to me coming from a motorcycle background. Whatever the reason, glad I did. These tires are great intermediate to hard terrain tires. Very light but for that you trade off sidewall protection (careful in the rocks). Rolling resistance is acceptable for such a large tire. I have finally got them tubeless by switching to a Marge Lite rim, cheaper rims just don't work. Do it to avoid pinch or thorn flats or for low pressures on snow, not so much for weight. Great Fat Bike user group on Facebook for ideas.

    • Light but fragile

These tires are very light and have good tread with medium-sized knobs, so they roll fast and have decent grip but the lightweight comes at the expense of thin, weak sidewalls. After only a few rides I have casing fabric showing on the sidewalls and some visible cuts in the outer layer. To be fair, I ride aggressively and in some rocky places, but these sidewalls are way too flimsy and not even close to the apparent toughness of the casing at the tread area. I clearly see the tire failing way before the tread even shows wear. If you ride on smooth trails, or snow, or sand, these tires may be for you, but I'd recommend toning it down if you hit the rough stuff.
