This pump uses about 1/3 the wattage as the previous pump and is much smaller and quieter while still pumping the same amount of water. Asked for a refund but didnt want to entertain the idea, he instead offered to send another, a lower level with a $200 refund(still too expensive for the price i paid for the original).
