        Very sophisticated portable

        Solid build. Great reception on all bands. Sound quality is adjustable and excellent. A little complex at first, but with practice and the book it soon becomes a breeze. The adjustable step tuning is a great feature, especially helpful on SSB. Only complaint, the night illumination is too dim.

        Sangean ATS Super 909 Radio

        This modified version of the Sangean 909 is a superb radio in all aspects. Love the ability to connect an external antenna to the modified (added) rca plug on the rear of the radio. Makes a great radio even better.
