    This Is A Well Designed, Light Weight DC Portable Fan. It Has (2) Power Sources. Onboard 8 "D"" Cell Slots For Camping Or Power Outages. It Also Has A 12 Volt DC Power Plug That Can Be Used In A Car or Truck With A Power Outlet. Really Quiet On Low Speed, & Lasts For Hours On DC Batteries.

    Great fans when the power goes out.

    I use the fans when the power goes out in the house, which is typically in the middle of the night/morning when I am in bed, and just need to move some air. I have two of these 12VoltDC fans; this one with three blades, and my first, that has 5 blades and moves a bit more air, which begs the question; Why did they change the blades? Silly rabbit, to save money of course. Do not try to use D cell batteries in either one, as it will just end up an exercise in frustration. What I use, is an 18ah sealed, rechargeable battery that goes for around $25.00, and will last forever. The battery will run both fans for a VERY LONG TIME, and after the power comes back on, I do a charge.

    Awesome fan

    I purchased this fan for my Mom to put in her safe room. When she doesn't need it for incoming spring storms, she can take it with her to any outside activities in the heat of summer. Great product. Perfect that it is battery operated or can be plugged into the car adapter.
