    Fantastic digital SLR

    This is one of Nikon's best ever DSLR cameras. It is retro styled on the F2A/F3 film camera but has all the power and features of the top pro DSLR's. This is not a toy for amateurs, it is complex and can take time to learn, but will take perfect pics just set on P or A. When special features are mastered this camera will produce miracles for you. No built in flash, but coupled with a SB600 , SB800 or SB900, there are no limits. Full detailed features are on Nikon website. An advanced semi pro camera for the serious advanced and semi pro photographer. I LOVE it!!

    A blast from the past

    If you have ever owned an older Nikon film camera like the FE2 or such, this machine will bring back memories. It works great with any lens you may own. Picture quality is fantastic. I love my D7100, but this is full frame enjoyment.

    best new "old school" camera

    I grew up using 35MM film and this DF is just like the old days without waiting for my film to be processed. works great in manual mode, so if your not on your game you might not enjoy this camera as much. coupled with my 85MM nikon D lens, it produces the most wonderful, sharp images with perfect bokeh a superior camera for the photographer who knows the functions of photography. all my lenes work wonders on this DF
