      I've used AcuRite products in the past. I specifically chose an AcuRite item this time on the strength of past experience, and wasn't disappointed with this item. The built-in radio clock function worked with no input on my part - literally "plug and play". The display is accurate and easy to read. Brightness can be adjusted. This unit requires being plugged in with a supplied "wall wart". 3 AAA batteries for display backup, 2 AA batteries for the sensor.

      A great inexpensive reliable product

      I bought this item because I had an older one just like it and it was always reliable but after years of use the humidity stopped working. Being the first one was so good I wanted the same one because of the service the first one gave. I like the new one because the light is on all the time. The first one did not have that feature.

      Nice weather station

      This Accurite weather station has all the information you need and in color. It is also dimmable. I keep it on my nightstand so I will instantly know the temperature outside when I wake up.
