I was aware when I bought it that it was faux leather as it is listed in the description- I was not aware however that there was a spot by the seam that was already starting to separate and tear away the top layer- First time I tried to wear it I realized it as it tore completely when I tried to zip it up and there is now a big separated rip between the two layers making it completely useless.
