    The cheapest route to 630 graphics

    Rockin' little chip. Much faster than I expected. Got it to run in a mini HTPC but on a lark installed Handbrake and have been amazed at its speed in transcoding videos. It's certainly not a powerhouse, but for a 2 core CPU at its price point it's really impressive. Stays cool too-- I planned on an aftermarket cooler, but even with the stock cooling fan throttled a bit it stays around 52C (126F) under full load. Compared to the very similar i3s it's an excellent value, and as much as most people need unless they're heavy into gaming or video encoding.

    $30 less the i3 almost the same

    This cpu works good and benchmarks in the high 6000 points on passmark. solid performance for a budget pc and windows sees it as 4 cores thanks to hyper threading. Having bout the i3 7100 I can say its just about the same. Yes the i3 benchmarks higher in the low 7000 points but really not much difference. The price is close and probably better to buy the i3 but if you need to meet a budget why not save $30 and get a stick of ram

    Right now this is the budget king. It performs within 1% of i3-6100 for 25-50% less cost. Weird pricing on Intel's part... Thanks though:)
