    Thank you for helping me find a replacement tea maker. My old one lasted for several years, and hundreds of pitchers of iced tea. I discovered that this model is no longer made by Mr Coffee. I tried to order one on their website. They still do make the 2qt model, which I did not want. I made a pitcher of tea as soon as it arrived today.

    Pitcher has one major flaw.

    Only problem I have with it is that with the oval lid, you cannot turn the lid part way closed, and when it is close to full, the tea spills out when you grab it from the fridge or off the counter. The lid can only be placed on the pitcher 2 ways and neither way seals off the pour spout. Kind of a dumb design if you ask me. Have already wiped up 3 spills since I was used to using my older one which would seal completely with the lid turned slightly. If I knew this, I would not have bought it.

    Love it!

    I own the older version of this and love it but it is showing it's age, so I ordered this. I love it! This brewer is larger than the old model and brews much faster. If you don't have loose tea and filters, you can use regular tea bags. If you don't have enough ice, just add water to the ice to make the full three quarts. I like darker tea with full flavor, so the tea strength button is a plus. You can add the sugar before brewing as well as other flavorings. I like to add vanilla to give it a smoother taste. The pitcher and brewer are easy to clean. I would recommend this brewer to anyone who loves tea!

    Thirsty little bugger...

    I decided to take my old Iced Tea maker to work and share it with the guys. That meant I needed a new one for myself, but I found myself drinking a lot in the summer months, so I thought an "Upgrade" was in order. Although I'm still "feeling this one out," I'm very close to "just right." It's quite a large "footprint" when you're brewing, and you need to make sure the pitcher is aligned properly or you'll end up with a countertop full of tea that you can't drink. (And it's not fun cleaning up either.) Having said that... the larger size means I don't have to brew so often and for that reason, I'm really enjoying this Iced Tea Maker.
