    Power and versatility

    The F6 with the MB-40 attached provides extra power (and who doesn’t like extra power), vertical controls and provides balance for larger lenses. I added the BL-3 battery cover so I could use the EN-EL4a batteries from my old D3X. It looks good on the F6 as well. When weight reduction is desired, the MB-40 is easily removed.
