    High quality router

    After a bit of messing with the settings my tablet connected at the advertised 2.4Gbps. Though I haven't figured out why the transfer speed maxes out at 400Mbps, regardless of the connection being 2.4Gbps or 1.2Gbps. I have not managed to get 2.5Gbps working on my 10Gbps network card just yet so I can't comment on the effectiveness or usefulness of that. Regardless, this is a very good router. If you want the best you do need to spend lots of money though, so unless you need the features of this router I would suggest a less pricey AX ASUS router. Also, as a side note, the VPN function of this router is currently broken when you connect an AI mesh node.

    Avoid this router if you are using any home automation devices

    This router has great wifi for gaming and streaming . It's built well. The big problem is connecting and maintaining any connection to all IoT devices. Do not buy this router if you are using any home automation devices. Because of this, I had no choice but to send it back.

    Works great but the bridge drops packets or connections

    I found out if you’re using bridge mode. Yes you do get a 4 Gb connection between the two but using video surveillance it still drops connections every 5 to 10 minutes if you don’t use bridge mode and use a repeater mode works better same thing with the AC 5300 I don’t know why they don’t get this thing fixed Otherwise works very well using surf in the Internet video streaming for TV and gaming I think it’s because he doesn’t use a live stream

    Stupid fast

    This router had evolved my network. Plain and simple. WiFi 6 will definitely improve once useable bandwidth. But the ROG Rapture takes wireless internet speeds to a whole new level!

    This router works perfect with the latest firmware. Cover an entire 1700sqft condo without dead spots and runs two concurrent VPN connections like a champ. Highly recommended to be future proof. M
