      A native of Delight, Arkansas.

      This autobiography covers Glen Campbell's upbringings from a poor family who got a guitar from his dad from a Sears Roback mail order catalog to become a famous entertainer in Country Music. Despite the fact he dabbled in drugs & alcohol at one point, he kicked both his habits & became a pioneer & icon.

      A fitting title, if you know the lyrics to “Rhinestone Cowboy”

      A decent biography of an excellent self taught guitarist and singer of country& pop music for over 60 years. He shares his struggles on the road to alcohol & drug abuse, & sobriety. Most interesting was the incredible appendix of his compendium of disc recordings from over the many years of his career.
