        Good PSU

I got this PSU used for an older system I refurbished. 380 watts is near perfect for the system. I pretty much knew what I was getting with this PSU as well. Enough power connections for your average PC build. One PCI-E connection which is expected since it's just a 380 watt PSU - not made for your super high-end GPU's. I wish it were modular, but I didn't pay enough for it to be modular. So no stars less because of that. Hopefully being an Antec it'll be reliable and if it lasts five years for me I'll be happy.

      • Efficient, quiet PSU value for basic computer systems.

Antec is a reputable brand for years, and this product maintains their reputation. 80+ Bronze rated PSU of sufficient power for basic, non-gamer systems, where 380W total is more than enough. Variable-speed fan is quiet, and 80+% efficient with active power factor circuitry. At the system's full load, this PSU is more likely to be operating in its high efficiency zone. It has two 4-pin 12V CPU power connectors. No dedicated provision for high powered GPUs. I bought two of these as replacements. And does power a Phenom II X2 to X4 CPU system fine. Although do note, one PSU has periodically shut itself down during a cold hard boot up whenever Windows 10 commences to load. A restart gets through this anomaly. Research did find others with various Antec EarthWatts PSU rated up to 650W, ...

      • Among the Best of the PSU Families

This is one of a sting of Antec 380W buys I've made, and I'm always very satisfied. It's easy to see why the many positive user ratings on Newegg reflect that others are equally satisfied.

      • Low noise, audio and RF

The computer shares the same room with shortwave and ham radio. A previous ATM PS purchase resulte4d in a unit that made using the radio impossible with the computer on due to radiating RF noise. The Antec PS has no noticeable RF noise, so I'm happy.

      • Antec EA-380D

This is a very good power supply; quiet, stable and durable. I have used a number of these for office PC builds and have seen no failures. Highly recommended, as long as your power requirements are modest.
