    Disc drive fixed my PS3!

    My PS3 has had disc drive issues for years. Finally decided it was time to replace it. I still have tons of games on PS3 that I want to play, even in 2020. This disc drive totally brought my PS3 back to life. Found a good video on YouTube and replacing the old disc drive was really easy

    Works perfectly - my PS3 slim is working again!

    This is the way to go if you want your PS3 slim to be able to read all discs again (CD/DVD/Blu Ray/Games). There is a great video on YouTube that will guide you on how to take the PS3 slim apart and swap out the nonfunctional laser head. Highly recommended!

    Works good.

    Worked well. You need to switch the daughter board out in the drive with your old one in order to get it to work. Took me about an hour to replace. Saved me from having to get a new ps3.

    As advertised

    Everything as promised. It took me less then 20 minutes to remove the old drive. I then tried installing the new drive assembly as is thinking I didn't have to swap drive boards. Wrong. As the seller mentions, you have to swap boards. That took the longest as there was glue on the screws. Still with me not listening, I managed to have my PS3 working like new in under an hour. Load times improved & all my errors disappeared. Well worth the money.

    Purchased 2 from ace electronics shop

    Purchased and installed 2 of these about 3 weeks ago both PS3's (slim 120gb CECH-2001a) are working great thus far with no further read errors or delays. Install took like one hour being careful and with YouTube video. My PS3 suddenly stopped reading blu-rays (would still read DVDs) after it froze in the middle of one movie. My bro's PS3 took forever to read discs but after 15-20 minutes would eventually load. Both now fixed hopefully will be good for years.
