    Phonetone Booster Works Well In Remote Area

    I was pleased that this item arrived from China much more quickly than I expected. We used this 2 frequency Phonetone booster on an application in a remote mountain area in Wyoming with poor cell phone reception. It works very well with the small antenna provided, although I am going to attach it to a directional antenna. This one uses DC power and is designed for a car. I chose it because we have no AC power in that location, so I needed something that I could attach to a deep cycle 12V battery which gets recharged by a solar panel. The setup has worked very well so far, after 3 days of use. We have gotten a large amount of gain and boost from this signal booster. The reception has gone from marginal or none to good. We have gone from no service to 3-4 bars on 1X and 3G. One ...

    Better than i expected

    I've tried a couple of different types of these products this one is the best by far. I live in a rural part of Mississippi and I barely have (1) bar in the yard. I mounted the outdoor antenna and hook up the receiver in in living room and I had 4 bars right away. This morning I couldn't sit in my living room and make or receive a call but this afternoon I have really good 4glte internet. I highly recommend this amplifier.

    had some problems with a connector falling off, locating the cell tower was a real pain, the maps were wrong but by driving around got it right

    It works but is very weak

    Very very weak output. The signal display shows five full bars on both bands. But the signal is so weak, if you aren't sitting directly under the antenna, you get no signal at all.
