    Perfect Eggs!

    This awesome gadget makes absolutely perfect poached eggs! Just set it in a pan of simmering water, cover, and in 7-8 minutes eggs slide right out of cups perfectly round and expertly cooked! Best kitchen tool I have ever purchased! Works exactly as advertised. I highly recommend it.

    Not what I was hoping for.

    We bought this silicone egg poacher to replace the glass custard dishes we were using to make poached eggs. Frankly, the silicone doesn't seem to conduct the heat as well (glass is superior) and the whites are often runny after the yoke is cooked. I had really hoped for a better solution to using glass custard dishes, but this product is a disappointment.

    breakfast anyone?

    My wife love this! She's been dropping eggs into boiling water, and that causes them to stick to the pan. Now that has ceased. It's quick and easy.

    Poaches well but has issues

    The issues are that it fits a specific size pan, needs a pan with a lid and a pan which has somewhat steeper-than-normal walls in order to work well and not accumulate water on the eggs. Nice to be able to poach 4 at a time, but needed to buy a new pan. Well, can't have everything. Now I have a new lidded pan. Everything works out in the end.

    Great product, I recommend it highly.

    Just don't like the red, but I can live with it. Works great but takes twice as long to do eggs as the previous one I had. But this is not a deal-breaker, just have to plan for a few more minutes. At least the coating won't flake off like the metal one I had. Still have to use a spray coating which I wish was not the case, but oh well I still love it. It does have a tendency to flop when you lift it with the raw eggs, have to be very careful not to spill the raw eggs.
