    Good Experience Changing L/F Door Actuator

    Took me 2.5 hrs, taking my time and encountering minor problems along the way because the YouTube videos were not exactly the same as my car, however, it was easy to figure out. Only had one problem with an orange clip that fell to the bottom of the door, I used a small zip tie to wrap around the door handle and cinched it real good. In my opinion it is stronger than the orange clip that got lost. Do this yourself and save over 600 dollars compared to the dealership for parts and labor.

    perfect fit and performance

    I replaced all 4 broken actuators on a 12 year old Prius. Now all are working perfectly. YouTube videos made this a doable DIY project for me. Great warranty. Rebuilding my broken actuators was way more than I felt comfortable doing. So Actuators Plus provides a great value and service. For me, I verified I could remove/replace an existing actuator before making the order and that I had videos for front door and rear door actuator replacement. That way when the parts came, I knew what to do.

    Like my actuator, love the business model!

    Love everything about this company... they send you a refurbished product (actuator for my 2012 Prius driver door actuator works great) for less than half the price of a new product, with a 30-day warranty. BUT if you send back your non-functioning product (in a postage pre-paid envelope), they increase it to a lifetime warranty. It’s a total win-win-win: - Company literally has no overhead - Customers get great products - Products get re-used, so little to no waste for the environment Kudos to Actuators Plus for creating a business model powered 100% on hard work, and environmentally sound thinking.

    Great!

    I ordered two left actuators on accident, they made the swap and no additional charge. Super easy to install once you have the products! Replace the product, don't rebuild the internal guts. I did see reviews about a $20 refund if you sent back your old one. Unfortunately mine was sending back the old unit for a life time warranty in exchange. Oh well.

    Works great. Fair price

    It was easy to see that the part would fit my car. It came in quickly. It was easy to return my original part to them. The one they sent me worked great. The price was about 1 third of the OEM price. Great purchase. There was some confusion about the $20 refund, but I messaged them and I was refunded the $20 the next day or 2. I do recommend taking a photo of the package and the label/tracking number they send with your part for the $20 refund so you can track it back to them just in case.
