It registered 51% when inserted and after 18hrs of admittedly light use indicates its level at 40%. I'll leave it to deplete as much as possible then recharge, repeating 3 times. Then should be good to go. An old, but fully functional phone is my trust worthy Galaxy Alpha, even if a little outdated. but oh so much easier to change batteries and I don't have to pay to have it done!!!
