      Purchased for 1970 Ford 3000 tractor, left side pitman arm has seepage type leak. Yesterday, I worked on changing out the old seal. After picking out the original, I discovered this new seal does not have the same depth dimension as the original. The original is "thicker" from front to back. Then, when I went to press the new seal into the recess it just slid in with finger pressure only. That's not how this type of seal should install. So, the OD is a few thou undersized. Not good.
