Quite comfortable out of the package, it has a moderate arch support and a soft feel to the foot surface. The price makes this item a good value and common sense purchase. And yes , i ordered the correct size for my feet. And yes, i know the customer can cut the front of these insoles to their size ... but that doesn't affect the distance from the heel to were the arch begins. •••• well, all that being said, i actually haven't put them in my shoes and walked in them...yet
