When I received the pump, the packaging, wrapping, and markings was nothing prove that I received a genuine Generac part. I have ordered other Generac parts and the box was from the manufacturer or the item was sealed in a Generac bag. I'm including pictures of the item I received. Other than that, the pump works great. When you buy something from JD, they give you a free parts manual with it. Their parts manual has JDs part No# in it. Not the manufactures part Numbers! Why? So that you go to them to pay the (almost 3x) higher price!
