      Can’t beat a Streamlight

      Tough, durable, water resistant, drop proof, the lighting is excellent, and the standard Streamlight ten tap programmable function is awesome. I use the high/strobe/low setting, and it works well with my needs. I live in areas where a bright light is needed, safety is imperative, and reliability is crucial.

      Great light. Bright and easy to use.

      Comprehensive tactical light. Very bright and easy to use. 3 available programs to choose from to fit a variety of tasks or purposes. A little power hungry, but that's to be expected for a 1000 lumen output with such a reasonably sized light and power supply. Can use different power sources. 2x CR123 or a single 18650. Very satisfied with my purchase. This will be my primary outdoor adventure and work light.

      Bright, takes 2 kinds of batteries, switch is not predictable

      Overall this is a bright light and close to the 1000 lumen claim (I have several different makes and it is easy to know when it is not meeting the claimed lumens by a lot by comparing them). The build is solid. The switch goes on full bright 99% of the time with one one click. That is what I need it to do. However, I find it awkward to get it to go into strobe mode or low power. Not an issue for me so I have not fussed with it. I have not figured out the "programable" part. I like simple, predictable things so this is too complicated for a flashlight. Otherwise, it could be a 4+ star rating.

      Great light at a great price

      I have been a Surefire Guy for years, but needed a new light. This Streamlight ProTac HL-X far exceeded my expectations! The only complaint I had was the small clip that comes on the light, but this is easily removable with a Phillips head screw driver. If you are looking for a 1000 lumen light then this is a good option to consider. The only option Streamlight might consider in the future would be a 2 power mode for extended used, like full strength being 1000 lumen and then say a 500 lumen second mode for longer use and battery life. I would still recommend this light 💯!

      Amazing

      This light is small compact but packs a punch on brightness. it is 1000 lumens which is extremely bright for its size. It is Ergonomic lightweight and overall a ten. The features are great and its easy to use and change them. For the price its most likely one of the best options in the market. You can use the rechargeable batteries or the cr123a's which is a great option.
