Luckily I was able to wet the hat and get it back close to original shape. Anyone selling hats should know to ship in a box that doesn't disfigure the hat. I contacted the seller they said they would accept a return but who wants that hassle. I would rather let the ebay community know what to expect when ordering from this seller.
