The cord is a bit short, but if it plugs into something up on the handlebar then that would be fine. I plan to cut and splice it onto a 6 volt battery pack which will be charged by a dynamo hub. I suspect the dynamo hub puts out more energy than regular dynamo lights use so this is for my quest to make a brighter dynamo light system. It will involve a voltage rectifier and a 6 volt NiMH battery pack.

The included reflector was the reason I went with this, although the supplied cable and cord are very high quality silicone and easy to work with. I had to cut off the far end connector and solder/heatshrink this cable onto my bike harness. Then, it plugs in and works fine.
