This is made possible through Epson’s DX5 technology which delivers up to five ink droplet sizes per nozzle. This microprint ink technique produces exceptionally smooth gradations, amazingly accurate skin tones and sharp, grain-free photos. To save manual input time, the inkjet printer contains two paper trays, a built-in auto document feeder, and an intuitive touch panel for setting task stacks all with a media capacity of 120 sheets. The Epson Artisan inkjet printer features a 7.8-inch touch panel and a 3.5-inch LCD, which means you can check and change printing settings easily. Create tools for the workplace or safely store family memories with the featured professional quality CD/DVD printing from Epson. Use the included Print Creations software to create impressive invitations, greeting cards, and photo books. Simply drag and drop your photos into the designer templates provided. Sending a fax with the Epson Artisan 800 printer is easy. Simply place the document on the flatbed scanner and scan it into the memory. With a fax speed of 33.6 KB per second, your documents will reach their recipient quickly and efficiently. You can also scan or copy stacks of documents easily with the built-in 30-page auto document feeder. The Epson Artisan 800 printer takes 6 Claria high-definition ink cartridges, one 98 high-capacity black ink cartridge, five 99 standard-capacity color ink cartridges including cyan, magenta, yellow, light cyan, and light magenta. The Epson Artisan also works with 98 high-capacity color ink cartridges. Replacing the ink cartridges is simple with a pop-and-pull mechanism. This Epson printer also includes a CD-ROM with drivers and creativity software to be installed and used with the connected PC or Mac.
