A bit more of it had perished than the time before, but all the sphagnum you usually buy is dead and dried anyway, so it's more observation than complaint. It doesn't look like there's a ton of it , but once you pull it apart, it becomes more agreeable as far as the feeling of value. If your environment it dry, the moss won't survive for long. It needs humidity if you expect it to live and grow normally. So worst case is having the usual dried sphagnum without woody debris.
