In those days a helmet was some padded leather straps sewn together and everybody called them "hairnets." Now, I wear a cap under my Giro to keep sweat off my glasses. This is made from tough fabric, it would last a long time. Shipped in an easy to open package so you won't damage the hat trying to open it. Good price, too. And Roger de Vlaeminck wore one.
