    Cheap knifes maybe seconds

    The paring knife had obvious bent.(5-10 degrees off). The Santoku had a grinding gouge on cutting edge and easily visible defects in metal finish work on guard/bolster. Most would call these two rejects/seconds. I was able to straighten paring and grind down Santoku edge to remove gouge, most likely caused durinig grinding dimples/ kullens. Disappointed.
