When mixing the weight of the bowl really helps you get a good stir going. I was able to cut my prep time in half because of these bowls. They worked so good I bought a set for my siblings. There used to regular mixing bowls so I know these will really stir them with excitement, I'm glad I decided to mix things up this year for Christmas.
