    Best I've heard

    My Klipsch 2.1's finally quit after years of great sound. Decided to go with the A5's and A8 combo after reading reviews. They are expensive but as they say, you get what you pay for. I was blown away by the sound quality of these speakers and they are worth every penny. I have heard parts in songs that I had not heard through other speakers. And the bass coming from the A8 makes you feel like you are in a movie theater, it's deep but not boomy, cant say enough good things about this setup. Thanks for a great product Audioengine!

    Great Speakers!

    These speakers sound amazing! They were easy to set up and included all necessary cords and wires. They were purchased as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend, however, the surprise was ruined because the packing box not only had the brand name, but had the exact model written all over it!!! So be careful if you are purchasing these for someone else! I was so disappointed. The speakers themselves are great. I'm not very knowledgeable about speakers, but these were recommended and I agree they are worth the investment!

    Great Speakers for old Phono players!

    Although this brand touts itself as part of the computer audio revolution, I find that these speakers are wonderfully compatible with my old phono player. What I needed was ONLY a pair of quailty powered speakers to plug my phono player into and this completely fit the bill. Fortunately, my phono player has a built in pre amp and I was able to plug the phono RCA cables directly into the back of the active speaker. I turned on the power and the sound was coming out in minutes. These speakers are of such good quality that I literally told my wife, "I feel like i'm listening to some of these records for the first time." That's how well these speakers pick up subtle sounds stuck in the grooves of my old records. I highly recommend these.

    Buy these speakers

    Phenomenal sound and build quality. I have them on some isoAcoustic stands to raise the speakers to the correct height on my desk. Paired with an Audioengine D1 DAC, You get the sound quality of a much more expensive setup.
