    This is a plastic, 8 inch, round wall clock which is built to be read backwards. To that end, it runs backward.

    As years go by, the quality of products seems to deteriorate. I heard it called "planned obsolescence" years ago. The first backward clock I bought years ago finally quit running, and this clock appears to be of the same - not lesser - quality.

    Look for better

    I had a backwards clock before that ran for about 15 years perfectly. I was hoping to replace it with the same quality, but did not find it in this clock. There are no marks between the numbers to keep a more accurate time. The clock itself is really light and has a cheap plastic covering over the face of it that I feel could get dented very easily. The ticking sound is also quite loud. I was not impressed with the quality of this clock at all.

    Great gift

    Very lightweight, but it hangs on the wall - so instead of looking at it as though it was flimsy, think about the fact that that means it's easy to hang on the wall without having a bunch of weight to deal with. It's really unique and I love that.

    Works fine, keeps time, runs counterclockwise just like you would expect. Like most wall clocks, the ticking is a little louder then I would like, but no louder than normal. Just get it! It's fun and helps keeps your mind sharp!
