Wow! Worked fabulously. Stubborn stains I let go because I didn't want to spend the money but it is well worth it. Took 3 applications but it worked like a charm and my soleplate looks and irons like it's brand new. Have plenty left in tube for several uses. Spend the money and do it!

Iron cleaner kit
This cleaner really works. I tried all the ideas that I found online to clean the bottom of my iron. I decided to try this cleaner and I couldn't be any happier. It actually cleaned the bottom of the iron, which had scorch marks and a lot of discoloration. I did have to rub the cleaner on the iron while it was standing up after trying to get it off by ironing it on the cloth as instructed. It cleaned it great. This cleaner really works. This is the best iron I have ever used in 50 years of sewing! The steam is superior. The 400 steam holes make this incredible. No dripping, no worry about leaving this resting for awhile because it turns off quickly if not used. This is truly light-weight. It does need a longer cord; it is about 7+ feet long and I need a longer one. The directions are good. Using only tap water (as the instructions prefer) is very nice. It is important to pour out the water when putting the iron away and leaving the port open to dry to prevent corrosion. It has a terrific calcium cleaner built it. No residue on fabrics. No Need For A New Iron
I've been using this product for years. I have two Rowenta irons that are used daily and sometimes they start to stick due to the fabric or the fabric softener we use. This is an excellent product, it'll last a couple of years since very little goes a long way and it makes the iron glide like it was new.

I recently purchased a new Rowenta iron. It came with a protective peel-off cover on the sole plate. When I peeled it off some of the adhesive stuck to the sole plate. I did not want to try to clean it and take the chance of possibly scratching the beautiful brand new stainless steel soleplate. I found this product and ordered it and it worked!
