    The replacement ice tray seems to be the same quality as the original manufacturers part-however that original part only lasted 4 years

    The part is not the problem -it is the poor design of the refrigerator ice maker that is a guarantee failure and need for replacement . I strongly recommend re-thinking any purchase of the samsung refrigerator that uses this ice maker.

    Fixed broken ice cubes problem!!

    I have a Samsung RF266AERS refrigerator and my ice cubes were being dispensed in pieces. I replaced the ice cube tray with this item and now the ice cubes are perfect!! The original tray looks fine. No cracks and it flexes just like the new tray but it works!! Maybe it's the coating? Anyway all is good now. Update on 2/1/2017. Ice is being dispensed in broken pieces again after producing whole ice cubes at initial install of this new tray.

    Too much trouble to fool with.

    Breaks too easily when installing. Very thin plastic. Ice too small. Needs to be deeper for ice size.
